I’ll quickly add in here that my thoughts are my own, they don’t necessarily reflect those of my employer, but they might. Who knows!
I began teaching in the UK, where I specialised in science. Seven years later, the seven-year itch, curiosity and a fairly persistent case of FOMO took me overseas. Since then, I’ve been lucky enough to work in schools across different countries and cultures, picking up new ideas, new perspectives and plenty to think about along the way.
I’m fascinated by so many parts of education: curriculum, pedagogy, leadership and coaching, student wellbeing, and the science of how we learn. I especially love exploring how they all connect, because one thought nearly always seems to lead to another.
I don’t profess to know everything. I do, however, usually have a few thoughts. This is where I write them down. I love learning, I love thinking and I genuinely love having my thinking challenged.
