It\u2019s a concept that\u2019s been around for years, and chances are, you\u2019re already doing much of it (even without all the signposting we love in education!). Often described as \u201c<strong>thinking about thinking<\/strong>,\u201d metacognition is a skill that helps students become more aware of their learning processes. It enables them to plan, monitor, and evaluate their progress, fostering independence and resilience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To support you, I\u2019ve put together a (relatively) comprehensive set of slides that you can adapt to suit your needs; there will likely be far too much included, delete what you don&#8217;t need.
